I googled around, but came to the conclusion that ESP weren't very good at keeping records of their serial numbers until around the 2000s. I found out that typically the guitars have a 7 or 8-digit serial number on the headstock, but mine only has 5 digits (See photos below). I also found another KH-2 in a forum, which, allegedly, was from 1994, and it only had 4 digits on the headstock and also a second number on the bolt on plate.
